Described by many of the Carnival team as the highlight of the year, this is when we announce which local groups and good causes are awarded the funds generated over the previous 12 months. It’s always an emotional and entertaining evening as people explain what they need the money for and what great experiences it will help them deliver to hundreds of people across our community.

It is also the main opportunity for anyone to raise any questions, thoughts, observations on what else the Carnival Committee could doing in the coming 12 months. If you can’t attend please do email chair@astwoodbankcarnival.co.uk

For the Astwood Bank Carnival Committee this is our favourite event of the year as we get to hand out money to local groups and charities. Hearing how they are going to spend all of the money that has been raised through the year is extremely rewarding. It’s the culmination of the hard work of the committee throughout the year, but vitally the support of the residents and businesses of Astwood Bank.

Please join us to hear where all of the hard earned money is going to be spent and help us develop our plans for the year ahead.
