We are after your time…..

but it will be loads of fun 😀

How can you help make sure that this year’s Carnival takes place? It takes hundreds of people to put on our annual Carnival day in July, and we all love doing it, but to make sure we can carry on doing this we need more people to help out both on the day, but also leading up to it. If you fancy giving a bit more back to your community come along to Astwood Bank Community Group open evening at The Bell on February 10th.

We’ll have short presentations on the hour starting at 18:00 through to 21:00. We’ll have loads of people to talk to about what they do so you can have an informal chat about how you may be able to use your skills to help us put on this year’s Carnival Day on July 11th.

We NEED You!

Brighter Businesses

The combination of Christmas lights put up by AB Community Group, local residents and the businesses are all helping give a beautiful seasonal glow along Evesham Road. We asked a few of the businesses what they thought:

Jane from Tête-à-tête:
I feel very privileged to be part of Astwood Bank especially at this time of year with the beautiful and creative decorations, well done everyone.
Marilyn and Alan from Corner Cottage B&B:
“The addition of the Christmas lights along the Evesham Road by the Astwood Bank Community Group has brought a real festive feel to the village and one that many of our guests at Corner Cottage regularly comment on. Well done everyone for all of your efforts.”
Pete from Pete the Meat:
“Well done to the Astwood Bank Community Group, and everyone else for lighting up the area and helping making Astwood Bank the great place to live and work that it is.”

Now all we need is the SNOW…. !!!
